To be honest, I had a hard time, thinking of something I could give to you.

Many useless thoughts crossed my mind.

Unfortunately, I'm a poor crafts(wo)man. I don't feel like having a freakening tool accident right now.

And if I'd sent you a cake, it surely had rotten away on the two-week-journey.



Instead, I'm using mankind's most glorious inventions: pen and paper and a computer...

I'm going to tell you something.

About us, fans. More specific, your fans.

We're all different, but in one way, we're all alike.

We're loving the same band, enjoying one of the most unique persons ever.

We love you - for being who you are.

Always an ambitious musician. Mostly, the goofy, child-like person, smiling at everyone.

A voice, able to capture our minds hearts. A passionate, dedicated and talented man.

That's how we see you.

You know, that we were there from the first days.

We found something worth to hold on to and you let us know, we were special.

We found others with the same goal and exchanged hearts and minds.

We felt close to you and close to each other, struggling for the same.

An amazing, fantastic thing was created and everybody worked hard - and still does.

We can say, we've met lots of different people and we call many of them friends these days.

Without you, our friendships could have never been possible.

We're painting our memories together ever since - because of you and Linkin Park.

We're watching you, listening to you and singing along every single word.

Sometimes, we're also functioning as your worst critics.

We're the cheering crowd, the bouncing people, the crazy one's and the shy one's.

We're a continually evolving, changing, bulbous mass - a growing monster that feeds on music and emotions.

We're with you, encouraging you, standing close-fractioned behind you, but most of the time we're standing right in front of you.

We're even telling the cashier at the local grocery store to turn up the volume, if one of your song is on air.

We're supporting you where- and whenever. We're feeling special, because you tell us to.

We laughed and suffered with you on LPTV.

We enjoy every show like it's the first.

We scream to the top of our lungs "Shut up, when I'm talking to you!".

We're deeply touched when you're "Breaking The Habit".

We'll always demand a second, or maybe a third, encore.

We said "F**k you, Mike!" when you told us to.

We hold our lighter's up, despite the burnt flesh on our thumbs.

You signed our stuff, in return we signed your tourbus.

Some might took your clothes, but you captured our hearts.

These aren't just our memories, but yours as well.

We're all connected.

Linkin Park created the soundtrack to our lives for 9 years so far. We'll never forget that.
