This site was made with the idea of giving your fans all around the world a chance to wish you a Happy Birthday. Some of us haven't had the chance to personally meet you or see you live, so we really hope you can see this very special site. It's not a one day thing, we've been working on it for months, and by we I mean all the fans that sent us their very special gifts and mails.
Hopefully we can get our message clear, and that is that you mean a lot to us and that we really admire you and support you in everything you do.

Unfortunately, I'm a poor crafts(wo)man. I don't feel like having a freakening tool accident right now.

ABOUT
What is this about?
The "Chester Brithday Projekt" is what the name says, a project to collect
presents from the fans for Chester's birthday and make one big present from all
of us. Since the first project
was a success and a lot of people participated with it, I decided to make it
once more for his next birthday.
New Projekt
The first projekt was completely an online thing. But this year it's going to be
different, this time I will send the present to Chester (to the official Linkin
Park address) and will be also published online like last year. I thought it
would be nicer for Chester to can touch and see his present from his fans all
around the world.
Disclaimer
As you already know, I have NO contact with Chester and I'm not 100% sure he'll
receive it, that's why I'm not asking for money or anything. Everything will be
paid with MY money, so if he never gets the package it will only be my loss.
That's why I'm going to make the online version of it too, so he can still see
it.
The Present
I've been thinking about it for MONTHS (I know, I have no life) and I came up
with the idea of making something like a book. With pictures and notes from the
fans. It will also have a DVD with video messages from you. I will also be
adding other things to it as we reach the deadline, so if you have an idea feel
free to mail me to: chesterlandsite@gmail.com.
Online Version
I will publish everything you send me just like
last years projekt that you
can see here. And also, take
pictures of the actual present that will be mailed to the official Linkin Park
address. All the videos will be uploaded to a youtube account and embedded on
the site.

If you want to help this project. Feel free to grab one of these
banners. You can use them as avatars and signatures on MB, paste them on your
site, or anywhere you want. We'd really appreciate the help.
To have the projekt well
organized we need to follow some simple rules.
(1) Videos length must be at least one minute but less than five
minutes. Upload them and send them by yousendit.com or sendspace.com.
(2) Keep a proper language on your letters, mails written LiKe DizZ won’t
be published.
(3) Try to make it as visual as possible; we want Chester to enjoy it,
not to fall asleep on his desk.
(4) DON’T give personal information on your letters, videos, cards, etc,
such as mail address, phone number or credit card number, this is for your own
safety.
(5) To make sure that you read the rules, write “It’s Chester’s Birthday”
somewhere on your mail. Otherwise I’ll know you’re not following the rules.
(6) Videos, Letters, Graphics, etc, must be in ENLGISH, as far as we
know, Chester doesn’t understand another language.
(7) Respect other people such as the webmaster, we’re not sure if Chester
will ever read or visit the site, it’s just a projekt we wish with all of our
hearts to succeed.
WHAT YOU CAN SEND
Pictures
We're receiving all kind of pictures (and as many as you want) just make them
related to his birthday, I guess he wouldn’t want to see pictures of your puppy
dog. They can be pictures of you holding a sign, or a cake baked by you, be
original he’d like that.
Videos
Last year, my best friend and I made a fake Interview to Chester. You can come
up with something funny and original too. Or just a simple birthday message on
video. You can send as many videos as you want but make them at least 1 minute
long but less than 5 minutes, we don't want to bore him to dead, do we?. IMPORTANT:
- All videos should be .mpeg or .avi (I'm not accepting other format)
- All videos should be uploaded to sendspace.com,
yousendit.com or
rapidshare.com. I won't download videos from
any other place. As soon as you uploaded your videos, please just send us the
link.
Short Messages
Since the present will have notes and post its all around, you can send us short
messages for his birthday (then again, they can be as many as you want). I will
write them down on paper for the normal present, and I will publish them on the
site for the online version. Hopefully, Chester will read them if he gets the
time, please, try to make it as short as possible, be specific in what you want
to tell him and try to use proper language, mails written LiKe DiZ won’t be
published.
Graphics|Fan Art
If you are an artist (in every single form, poet, song writer, painter) take a
picture, make a graphic, write a song, etc, and send it to us. I bet Chester
would love that. But again, try to make it Chester related, these are presents
for him after all. If you are a musician and have a song dedicated to Chester,
record it and send it to us so I can put it on a CD for him to listen to it.
Birthday Cards
If you bought/made a cool birthday card for Chester, you can send us a picture
of it and we’ll print it and publish it on the site.
Tattoos
We all know Chester loves tattoos. So if you have a Chester/Linkin Park tattoo
that means something to you, send us a picture and what it means to you, so we
can print it and publish it on the site.
How many things can I submit?
You can submit as many things as you want. You can also submit one thing of all
the things above, it's ok by me.
Reminder
All things will be public, so please don’t give personal information as Mail
Address, Phone Number, Credit Card number, etc. With your e-mail account and
where you’re from is enough, please don’t ask Chester to write you back because
you can’t give any personal information in this site, I won’t post it. This is
for your own safety.
DEADLINE
We'll stop receiving
mails on March 1st, 2009, so I can
work on the book, send it and publish the site. The online present will be
published for Chester's Birthday on March
20th, 2009
GRAPHICS
It's very easy to send a present, just fill this form and follow the next
steps.
Name: You have to give us your name or Nickname so we can put all your
things together.
E-Mail: Remember it's going to be a public thing, so if you don't want
your personal e-mail address out, create a new one just for me to contact you.
Present: Just check what kind of present are you sending. Tattoos,
Cards, Graphics, etc... goes as "pictures"
Link: Just paste the direct link to your pictures or videos for me to
download and save on my computer.
Message: If you're sending a text message, here is where you have to
write it down. Remember to write it as you want it to be published, I won't be
changing anything from these messages. (If you just want to contact me, send me
a mail).
